I stated in a previous topic that nations have life cycles. Where does your nation fall on the life cycle? Quote:Nations and empires actually do have "life cycles." Hmmm... how to rate a country that had gained independence 50 years ago and which has not really followed the life cycle mentioned above? We went from bondage (British colony) to liberty (independence in 1957); liberty to abundance; abundance to corruption; and it looks like corruption to dependency in the next few years. Yup, have to add in these events in the lifecycle above.

Kinda tough responding to a poll such as yours since all the characteristics are applicable to varying degrees. Sorta like a poll for one's "church". The characteristics as conveyed in Rev can apply congregationally/collectively as well as individually.
I've a tendency to concur with kleeb although I'd add that many, (most?), americans either don't care and/or are scripturally ignorant. Add the resurgence of the so called "neo"-paganism of the last 35 years or so to the mix and the USA/world finds itself in the current state. |
