Yada,

Researchers unearthed a lead curse inscription at Mt. Ebal.
The news release is found here: https://www.christianpos...cipher-curse-tablet.html

I watched the complete video conference with the director here:

Summary: Biblical researchers say they have decoded an ancient Hebrew inscription, known as a “curse tablet” that predates by centuries any known Hebrew inscription from ancient Israel.

On the tablet in ancient Hebrew letters is Yah's name YHW. The last letter was not shown. The scholarly paper on the find will be released this summer.

The use of Yah's name in this lead tablet dates to 1400 BCE (Late Bronze II age). This is earlier than many skeptics believe the Towrah existed. Since this was found at the altar site on Mt. Ebal, it confirms the existence of the same location mentioned in Yahowsha' 8:30-32, where he read the words including the blessings and the curses. Usually, the curses were penciled and buried. There is evidence that inscriptions were made with iron pencils into lead at this time in history. So, this is quite a find.

Also, the dig team has plaster that is flat and has inscriptions. It sounds like they want more money to dig to see if they can find more Towrah text.

If this is all sound and not lifted up for religious reasons, it is an exciting find and venerates the text we cherish.

It would be great to find a whole copy of the Towrah next as you have stated.

Wow! If dated correctly, this is monumental. It destroys the JEDP theory! It also affirms the exact timing of the Exodus and entry into the Land.

I don't very often listen to videos, but I may have to make an exception.

By the way, thank you for providing the summary of the video. Greatly appreciated.
