Shalom All,

Picking up on shalom82's suggestion, I'd like to suggest that we actually host a calendar on this web site so that we can get the dates for Miqra observance.

Yahweh's Set-Apart Days, Year 2008

Passover -- April 19, Saturday
Days of Unleavened Bread -- April 20-26, Sunday-Saturday
Pentecost -- June 8, Sunday
Feast of Trumpets -- September 30, Tuesday
Day of Atonement -- October 9, Thursday
Feast of Tabernacles -- October 14-20, Tuesday- Monday
Last Great Day -- October 21, Tuesday

I have a little html table that goes up to 2010 only. I would appreciate it someone verifies the dates herein, just to be sure it is accurate. I am looking for more sources with a longer period for the future.

bitnet, Ohev Yisra'el.

Now, we're cookin' with gas

Thanks so much bitnet...it's a great starter. Where did you get the information?

Edit:
Sorry Bitnet...I didn't mean to sound stupid...moreso I was meaning the source...Rabbinic or whatnot. Passover in the recent past was a month late...and from what I have read could be so again. I am wondering if anybody has any calendar that might go by the aviv barley. I am not trying to be legalistic...but...eh...I don't think I have to explain myself.

Oh!...you're right! It isn't there...I didn't notice. Well anyway...according to this reckoning, Bikkurim would be April 21

There... you see! Firstfruits is in there somewhere but not stated. I must have missed it when I converted it from the html table. Silly error trying to post in haste. Told you I am not infallible! <:-p And at least you guys are paying attention!

Hahahaha Swalchy! Exactly what ran through my mind when I wrote that! And also wondered if the mullahs and ayatollahs will confess the same!

OK, now that the dates are up, is anybody going to do anything about it? I had started a thread about Assembling on the Set-Apart Days but it seems to have gathered little interest. Hope it picks up now. Don't wait for an invitation! :-)
