This is old news. Seeing as the Quran affectionate Pope JP is dead, but it's just another nice little piece of evidence of how insane the Catholic church is. It's an article on Thomas More. He was responsible for having 6 reformers burned at stake and forty more were arrested. He tried to supress the English scriptures written by William Tyndale and put a price on the translators head. Ultimately somebody sought that reward and Tyndale too was burned at the stake.

I have really come to admire John Wycliffe and William Tyndale. The more I read about them the more I am impressed.

P.S. I am not going to say that everything on reformation.org is accurate. I simply read this article and checked it with wikipedia and it seemed credible. As has been said before, be a Berean.
YHWH's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.

Well, I'm inclined to think that it may not have been a hands-on approach then, and perhaps Yahweh let them do it to themselves so that others may be edified eventually.
The reverence of Yahweh is the beginning of Wisdom.
