I have finished reading Taruw'ah - Shout for Joy...and observing for the day. I have at least one major question: WHY is this translated Feast of Trumpets? From what I can tell, Taruw'ah is Strong's # 8643 and is only used twice in scriptures, both in reference to this day. Leviticus 23 and Numbers 29. In neither passage is there any mention of shofars (7782) or silver trumpets (2689).

I've been looking at the ancient pictographs that symbolize this word:

taw -crossed sticks/mark/memorial

resh - head/first/beginning

waw - tent peg/connection/support

ayin - eye, insight, seeing, observing

hey - man beholding, revelation, amazed, worship

Where are the trumpets? You'd think there might be a pey - mouth
