The problem is that "Creationism" as normally approached by well meaning Christians is as brain-dead as the theory of evolution is. Willingly ignorant of the implications of Einsteinian relativity (not to mention the power of Yahweh and the actual words of scripture) they would have us believe that the universe was created in six literal earth days---measured partly before the sun and earth were even created! Damn the facts of science---full speed ahead! Describe yourself (as I do) as an "old-earth creationist" and you'll get as much flack from "Christians" as you will from secular humanists. Makes you feel like a "voice crying in the wilderness..." a wilderness of ignorance and disbelief.

How about a "relativity creationist"? That way they have no idea what you are talking about and it begs the question. At least it gives you an extra couple of seconds before you get blown off by either side! ;)

Now thats an idea - only, I have a bit of trouble with the math...:-)

I am knocked over by all the implications of 'asher' and there is also a 'variable speed of light' theory, does anyone know if this is implied in the Hebrew? Yada - do you have any thoughts?
