Just thought of this while reading the updated YY "Hayah":
Moseh broke the first set of God's Statements set in stone (1st Covenant); Moseh had to go back up the mountain to receive the second set of God's Statments (Renewed Covenant) which was exactly like the first set, not a different set.

Sara, I'm not sure that we're told if they differed, but would be surprised if God changed His mind as to what instructions to give via the tablets. That is unless the Mel Brooks version of the giving of the tablets was more historically accurate than we thought?  Respectfully, -Theophilus
