New Moon Report September 2007 Seventh Biblical Month
On Wednesday September 12, 2007 observers from several locations in Israel looked for the New Moon but it was not sighted despite extremely clear weather conditions. This was as predicted by modern astronomical visibility criteria. Tomorrow night (Thursday September 13, 2007) the moon should be easily visible from Israel given adequate weather conditions. Yom Teruah will begin Thursday night at sunset.

The question should be phrased, "Should we date the miqra based on what man sees, or on what he knows to be true?" The astronomical calculations of astronomers (by definition, really smart guys) predict the new moon appearing sometime on Wednesday evening. Sundown Wednesday marks the beginning of the first day of Nisan, a date which is set by astronomical calculation, not the counting of days (as in the Gregorian calendar). I'd only note that by definition, the first sliver of the new moon is really hard to see.
That being said, if Yahshua wants to take me home tomorrow instead of today, then let's go!

So if mankind has always been the ones with which Yahweh has used to see with their own eyes the New Moon? Who should we trust someone who has equipment to tell when their is the slightest bit of light from a New Moon or from the eyes of the Yahhuwdym on the ground in Yisra’el looking with their Yahweh Mighty One Yahshua given eyes?
Makes more sense to me if the Yahhuwdym, sight the new moon with human eyes like in the days of old. But what the heck Rabbinical Hebrew Calendars all use Pagan Names for the months.

OK, OK, I am not arguing with or without who is right or wrong.
I just think it is interesting how Yahweh is exposing false prophets and makes fools of diviners, who overthrows the learning of the wise and turns it into nonsense, who carries out the words of his servants and fulfills the predictions of his messengers.
Who is calling out those who are child like Yahhuwdym who will be upright yet bent toward, prefer, choose, yield to, follow after and covenant with Yahweh The Mighty One Yahshua and use not their wise and persuasive words but know He is the one who reveals the days, dates, times and seasons and names them correctly.
We all have a lot to learn and it is hard to celebrate Yahweh's days and times when we live in a world that only honors pagan days, dates and times.
All that said I am thankful for those who Shout for Joy Wednesday and those who Blow the Trumpet Thursday. Are we all not Shouting and Blowing for the same reason?
AND I am very thankful for Yada, KP and many of you for how knowledgeable you are, and I personally think you are by definition, really smart guys and gals.
