Just a bit of a fun question to mull over.

A talk show host that I listen to frequently does an open lines hour where listeners are invited to call in on anything they find interesting. This week a caller called in with a question I found interesting, the host is Jewish so the listener asked a question about the Sabbath. In certain parts of the world, i.e. northern Alaska, there are times where sun down to sun up can be significantly more than 24 hours, i.e. Barrow Alaska can have up to 67 days of night, so since Scripturally a day is sun down to sun up and the Sabbath is every Seventh day when would you keep the Sabbath?

Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

I believe Yahshua gives us the answer to this in John 11:9 "Yahshua answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world." So, I don't think how long a day is should be determine by the location of the sun. I would say sunset 6 PM to sunrise 6 AM, that's how I do it.

Maybe God didn't anticipate people crazy enough to want to live in freezing cold Alaska lol.

You may be on to something: Up there, the most plentiful things to eat are whale blubber (unclean), Alaskan King Crab (unclean), seal (unclean) and bear (unclean) (and they might eat you!).

I never thought about that, Daniel. But I think you're right on the money. Wow. Imagine being in such a place where there is virtually nothing fit to eat, nothing which qualifies as "food" in Yahuwah's eyes. That's a scary thought, bro.
