I just read http://realmessiah.name/pdf/name.pdf. It covers a lot of ground but I couldn't help but to cringe each and every time the author used the word FEAR in the excerpt. I do like the excerpt because it points out how the names got corrupted such as the letter J etc... I was brought up in a household with an abusive father, and going to a church multiple times a week, so the only way I could understand Yahuweh our father was my evil church going father as the example. Fear is an understatement. I grew up scared out of my skin that God was going to strike me down for the slightest transgression. I still have those fears today (in my 40's). It's unfortunate that the English translations of the scriptures are so poorly done that each and every word has to be rechecked, double checked, researched, and expounded upon to get the true meaning of the original words. I find myself having to read very slowly in English and attempt to translate back to Hebrew and re-research every single word as I read or the scriptures end up being pointless in the best case, or in worser cases detrimental (putting in mildly).
