Hi James, I'm new to the forum but have been reading the threads as well as reading the ITG and YY for about the last eight months or so. I love the work that has been done in these translations. I downloaded Bare'shiyth today (up to chapter 29 I think). I would love to have all that is available but the rest of the links in this thread are not available. Could you please email the latest translations that you have? I seen in one of your replies that you also have Shemowth/Names?

What Chuck posted in post 95 and 96 should have most if not all that was posted here. When the forum migrated to a new server a lot was lost and CGB posted what he had. If there is something in particular that is listed as having been here that is not in his list post and let everyone know, I'm sure someone will have it.
What CGB posted is as far as I have gotten in Ba'reshiyth, minus a handful of verses that I have done recently. I have not had a chance to work on translations in a while now, or more accurately I have not tried hard enough to make the time. I'm hoping to get some more done soon and will post as soon as I get a complete chapter done.
i have not done any translations of Shemowth, perhaps someone else has. |

Don't know how to attach When you hit Post or Reply note the "Attach files to this post?" directly under the test window you can check. I recall when you hit "Post" it then brings up another window with a "browse" button that allows you to navigate to location and filename on your computer. I seem to remember it only allows certain filetypes like .doc, .zip, maybe jpg, but not PDFs which you'll have to .zip first. You can attach several files too. Most threads will not have the attach file enabled like this one does. On lower right of each thread it states permissions.

Weird after posting the permissions say "you can not edit your posts", and doesn't mention "you can attach files to your post". I do note that there is also an "attach" button in some.
^ typo above: "test window" should have said "text window"

Thanks James. Needhelp, who translated Exodus? And chapter 4 vs 24 is something I was curious about. Turns out the translation you posted ^^^ is missing that particular verse.

The ones I last posted, I think, were rough prior to publish of ItG, and before YY update.
I'm sure the amplifieds are much improved and also with richness of stems and moods.

I hope you don't think I am trying to better you. I'm not.
If they hadn't been posted before I may not have tried
doing it myself. I make them for myself, it makes it easier
for me to study. I am a speedreader. This computer
really slows me down. Don't know what I'll do when I
figure it out. I post them because I think that I'm not the
only one that gets really tired and frustrated with "Lord,
Jesus, obey(something I'm not very good at) commandments
etc." I really enjoy reading what the Scriptures really say.
Makes a lot more sense. You, James and many others have
given me the benefit of your time, I'm just returning some.
I'm afraid I may have messed Ezekiel up.I hope not, it's
one of my favorites. If so will someone please post so I'll
know? This computer is driving me crazy.
Only I can screw up copy and paste.

Oh please don't even think I'd think that for a second. Very greatful you picked up the mantle, and for all others who do so.
After winter set in and then had some free time, I was thinking of recompiling based on latest ItG and YY, but was frustrated that copy/paste from PDF lost much of the formating in MSword.
Now flintface and I are involved in another effort. So very glad you picked this up and ran with it.

I'm using Open Office for everything. The more mistakes
I make, the more shortcuts I learn. Yesterday I found out
how to make the print bigger. A very costly mistake, but
now I can see what I'm doing, again and again and
again......... Hope this helps.
BTW does Ezekiel 1 sound anything like
the description of a Chakra to anyone?

Ack, can't edit or delete my posts in this thread. THe acceptable formats are:

Don't know what .docx is. The other ones I uploaded were .zip
I noticed Flintface uploaded .pdf. Ive tried .zip and .pdf, neither
works. Get serious error. Tried .odt to see if it would work and
got .odt are not allowed message. I'm not doing anything different
than I did for the others. Can't figure it out. Maybe "upload" doesn't
like the Psalms.

Can't upload .jpg either. Experimented with a picture of my
baby girl.(she has 4 legs). Not being able to edit is a pain
in my brain.

Also, ".docx" is a Microsoft Word document format, which is allowed, and ".odt" is a LibreOffice/OpenOffice Writer document format, which is not allowed. If you're using LibreOffice or OpenOffice, you can save your file in the ".docx" format. I take it from your responses that you were previously able to upload files in formats which are not being blocked for some reason. Have you changed anything about your connectivity configuration: added/changed Internet security features, etc.? 4 legs, really? If this is your child we're referencing, how sad. |

Sorry Flintface, I guess I'm used to everyone knowing that all
my "children" have legs. She's a dog, Bunnie by name.
Her picture made it this time. I also uploaded Bamidbar-Numbers
Post #133 above. It is the same as the others I uploaded last week
or week before last. Don't remember. Joshua, Ezekiel and a couple
others. Nothing has change but the weather. It was clear then and
clear today. Been storming forever. Tried to do Psalms again but
didn't work. Weird, afraid to delete Bunnie, it might delete Bamidbar.

BTW Flint face, Thankx for the explanation. I can't find .docx in Open Office. I did find .doc, several of them. Does it matter which .doc is used? Bamidbar/ Numbers has the one for XP and .odt in it. Post #107, 110, 112, 113, 115, 116 all have .odt in them. They're all zipped, .txt, .odt, .pdf The only ones I'm having trouble with are Psalm 119 and All the Psalms together. Don't understand. Going to try again now. Just the pdf

Well I tried to upload both a pdf and a zip file of "Fossilized Customs" but it didn't work. Perhaps the file is too large. They are both about 7 MB. Zipping a pdf file doesn't save much. Sorry it failed.

Thanks for the links. I had read that he owned a head shop and seen proof of ownership (business license) a few years ago. The only reason for reading “Fossilized Customs” is to learn about the pagan origins of the many holidays and traditions of Christianity. Maybe the best way to learn about paganism is from a pagan.
I wouldn’t listen to anything he said about the Torah, he is obviously not “shamaring” observing Torah by being surrounded by idols and serving them (literally) by selling them.
