I've loved and played bluegrass music for a long time. There's a lot of Gospel tunes, and some lyrics have become repugnant to me. Recently in YY private email someone reminded me about something, and took it to heart. I always loved the guitar work in this, but with a few changes I can sing it again.
No doubt that when I sing this at a bluegrass festival campgound jam, I might get some questions.
It's DanTyminski, Album-Carry me across the mountain, Track 6 "Praise the Lord".

http://www.rhapsody.com/dan-tyminski I've replaced Baal's name (Lord) with Yahweh. Replaced "holy" with awesome. Lyrics flow smoothly too.
Praise Yahweh
(Song: “Praise the Lord” – but using God’s name instead of Baal)
Drop D, Capo 3rd (Key of F)
<Flatpicking intro>
Praise Yahweh, Praise Yahweh,
And bless His awesome name
‘Cause He don’t ever change
He’s the one, He’s the one
It don’t matter what you’ve done
He wants to love you just the same
<mandolin solo>
When old trouble comes along
and temptation’s growing strong
Take my hand Yahweh I pray
Hear my cry, hear my plea
Have mercy on me
and let your love show me the way
[Chorus] <dobro-fiddle solo>
As I labor in this land
Be my strength and help me stand
Meet me on the narrow way
Many loved ones now are gone
But I know I’m coming home
Soon we’ll all be there to say
[chorus] <Flatpicking Exit>
