I ran across this photoshopped grass hopper at Fark.com, it made me think of John's vision: Quote:Revelation 9:7 - The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. I think you are on to something here.
as i read revelation 9:17 (from a litteral translation of a somewhat shady greek so don't take this for 100% truth)
"And thus I saw the horses in the vision and the [ones] sitting on them, having breastplates fire-coloured and dusky red and sulphurous; and the heads of the horses as heads of lions, and out of the mouths of them proceeds fire and smoke and sulphur."
now you can tell me what you want, that right there is the description of a battle tank.
it goes on in verse 18: "From the three plagues these were killed the third of men, by the fire and the smoke and the sulphur proceeding out of the mouths of them. 19. For the authority of the horses in the mouth of them is and in the tails of them; for the tails of them [are] like serpents, having heads, and with them they do harm."
