I heard, read somewhere that Jonah when thrown over board was actually more likely to have been protected by Yah's Spirit than a fish...

I have no idea where I heard this but what do we know about this story, Translations and that kinda thing? Just thought it was interesting thing to look into...

(my son's name is Jonah... lol)

You're right about that Robbo, Yada covers it in the Pecach/Passover chapter of Book 5 - Good News - in YY!
