Woohoo, another victory for Humanism!!!

I was talking the other day with an atheist, and we were discussing an article by a New Scientist writer and by an atheist psychologist, who determined that children create (conjure) up gods in their imagination. They went on to say that this proves that religion-by-adaption is a part of evolution. I do agree in the case of Islam and Catholism (etc.) being religion-by-adaption to a degree but I disagreed that the article proves God doesn't exist. Obviously we discussed the role of parenting in relation to a child's upbringing. I went on to quote Proverbs 22:6 that we should train our children in the way that they should go, and he was quick to respond calling this indoctrination, he even went on to say [I paraphrase]: "this is unfair on the child because they should be free to make their own decisions without strong (parental) influence, possibly life lasting influence where children don't know any better and where parents should know better." He went on to say, as if it is a bad thing, that young minds believe whatever they are told and went on to list examples such as how muslim children usually become muslims as they grow older because of parental influence.

He wasn't too chuffed when I highlighted that Humanism's direct influence in British culture has cuased youngsters today to become violent (killing toddlers, and I even seen teenagers killing a random person exiting an underground/subway station), unbridled in sexual relationships, and seriously disrespectful of parents, teachers, public service people and the eldery. I highlighted how Britian is being influenced by Humanism, due to its errant human rights movement, and is killing Britian from the inside, I also highlighted how Humanism is killing Britain due to its unwillingness to stand up against Islam. Then I said that Humanism's biggest enemy is itself.

I'm a believer in Yahweh, and I want my children to believe in Yahweh too. Why would I want them to believe something different?!

I don’t mean to be unsympathetic, but if it were not for socialism these types of false families would not exist. Because they could not provide for themselves.
