Shalom,

Now I wish that the Shalom of Yahweh shall be upon all the earth but it is written that "the ways of peace they know not." I sense that this latest war is the spark of something that shall lead into a greater confrontation in the near future. We know that Israel has practised restraint until now, but the media shall always portray Israel in bad light as aggressors and murderers for retaliating despite the fact that they have been on the receiving end of hundreds of missiles over the past few months. There are no simple solutions to this problem, as it is also a battle of religious ideologies that encompasses more than the players in and around Israel. Until that is brought to light, there shall be no true understanding of the conflict and violence shall continue to serve the people who stand to gain the most, arms manufacturers, traders and financiers included.
The reverence of Yahweh is the beginning of Wisdom.

As some of you may know, we now live in Jerusalem. There are some facets of this problem which those who swallow the propaganda tend to miss.

Britain was mandated by the League of Nations to provide a Jewish Homeland from the land tracts taken from the Turkish (Ottoman) empire in 1918 (they lost the war, they lose the land)

Many Palestinian Arabs fought for the Ottomans against the allies, the Palestinian Jews fought with the allies.

97% of the mandated land was given to the Arabs and is now 'Jordan' in defiance of the Mandate.

Unfortunately they (the Arabs)wanted the lot, claiming residence 'from time immemorial', but Jews have also lived in the land from time immemorial, but since the time of Caliph Omar they had been treated as Dhimis (second class citizens paying higher tax and having no legal recourse against Muslims).

The Arab peasants were totally exploited by the four 'effendi' families (of which Arafat was a member).

The British kow-towed to these effendi families, even when they fought for the Nazis (google 'Haj Amin' and see the results).

In 1947/8 United Nations Resolution 181 proposed a two state solution along similar lines as the current one, the Palestinian Arabs and the Arab League rejected it, and immediately invaded Israel (the hand of YHWH can be seen very clearly in the resulting situation). The Egyptians invaded Gaza and the Jordanians occupied the West Bank.

In 1967 the Egyptians provoked the war by shelling Israeli ships in the Gulf of Aquaba, a defined 'causus belli' in the 1948 cease fire agreement. The Jordanians eventually retreated behind the Jordan leaving the West Bank in an anarchic state, the subsequent Israeli 'occupation' was a humanitarian action. Similarly Gaza was abandoned.

If one reads the documented Palestinian war aims, one will find that they are a continuation of the extermination of Jews idea that seems to have been 'sold' to Hitler by Haj Amin. The idea is to occupy Israel bit by bit and to wage war against Jews wherever they may be found. This could be straight out of Mein Kampf (Kampf = Jihad in Arabic!)

Of course YHWH has this all under control!

Thanks, J&M. It may be helpful to review the borders of Israel's Land---as Yahweh defined them. I described them at length in Future History, chapter 6: Ground Zero. Basically, they include everything between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, and from the Negev to about three quarters of the length of Lebanon, with a sliver of Syria thrown in for good measure in the north. Olmert had no business giving Gaza to the Paleos: it belongs to Yahweh.

Hamas is ready for peace? No, they're ready to stop getting pounded by pissed-off Israelis who are sick and tired of getting shelled every ten minutes. The Hebrew word for "violence," by the way is, you guessed it: hamas. (Ref: Genesis 6:11)

What's really sad is at this point it is easier for Israel to attack a terrorist organization with military action, rather than by condemning the ideology behind the organization. The public backlash against Israel would be greater if Israel attacked the Qur'an than with them attacking what the Qur'an has produced. It is a sad commentary on the power of political correctness.

Shabbat Shalom,

Well, Hamas represents an ideology that all Muslims should martyr themselves for Islam. And if they do not, Hamas can and will volunteer their deaths to Allah for the sake of Islam. So from their point of view, there are no human shields, just martyrs-in-waiting. Their pre-occupation with uncooperative Fatah members also shows that they would rather sacrifice them to the Israelis and then weep crocodile tears to move world opinion. I had always said that the world needs to wake up and understand that a religion bent of sacrificing its believers is very dangerous. There is nothing to stop Iran from the ultimate sacrifice: its people against the Israelis. Exchange nukes and so what if all of Iran is obliterated? At least Israel ceases to exist and the Muslims who die go up to seventh heaven as martyrs. Will the world not understand this threat?

Shabbat Shalom,

I downloaded the video of the Davos WEF on Gaza and it is clear that Peres spoke straight and sharp and that the other three -- Erdogan, Ban Ki Moon and Amr Mousa -- were taken aback. The Arab spokesman's body language was a clear contrast to his words of peace and reconciliation with no interest in Peres' explanations, and Erdogan has to resort to old arguments to have the final word. It's worth a watch here.

Shalom again,

Just thought I'd repeat a post I read on The Jerusalem Post regarding Israel's response to the recent Qassam after Israel left Gaza. The article is Palestinians: 8 wounded in IAF strike:

Quote:
80. Personality Analysis
I was reading about the Ted Bundy Serial Killer case in the '70s, and noted what they called "classic" sociopathic personality: grandiosity (arrogance), extreme sense of entitlement, preoccupation with unreal fantasies of success & power, lack of empathy for other people, long history of deceiftulness, repeated failures to meet normally expected obligations for school/work, and high levels of interpersonal exploitativeness. Wouldn't this describe the actions of Hamas as sociopathic in nature, kind of an understatement, but with a more clincal approach? Can they be allowed to rule Gaza?
