I'd love to see that book too, the very title will lure a bunch of unbelievers to read it only to blunder head on into the truth. ;)

Quote:
In totalitarian societies, like those found in fascist, socialist, and Islamic nations, access to information is constrained and that which is provided is inaccurate. Without access to good data, reason is useless, and thus wise choices are impossible. In so-called "free and democratic" countries, information is so abundant we nearly drown in it. So as to rob people of their ability to choose wisely between man and God, good and evil, right and wrong, life and death, man created the immoral code known as "political correctness." Based upon the irrational notion of "being intolerant of intolerance," it makes being judgmental, and thus discerning and discriminating, a sin. No matter how prevalent or accurate the facts are, without the ability to process them judgmentally, wise conclusions, and thus good choices, are impossible. As a result, men and women have abrogated their freewill as most everyone on the planet has been rendered unable to rationally process truth based upon one of these two human schemes.

Reason is the enemy of all political and religious schemes

Two more of my favorite quotes along the same lines by Yada. Sorry, but i forgot which chapters they are from.

Perhaps we, as a society, need to be swamped in order for the real truth to be 'shocking' enough to jerk people out of their complacency. It took many years for the West to understand the overt threat of fascism, and the complacency of our respective governments of the time directly contributed to millions of unecessary deaths. It took Pearl Harbour and the loss of a significant proportion of the Pacific Fleet to get the US moving, in UK, it took the fall of Norway and then of France to make the government realise that we were next....

We have so much 'bread' and so many 'circuses' now that there is just no need to use reason and judgement - there are other people who are 'paid' to do that for us, just as we pay our vicars and priests to get us into heaven - so wot's me worry....
