Greetings!

I have obtained the Dead Sea Scrolls Database for Logos and am working my way through Into to God at the same time using Logos resources to verify and study Scripture.

I have a question regarding using the Dead Sea scrolls Database effeciently. Is there an index or something that will tell me which scroll is what book (i.e 4Q10 which book is it or which dead sea scrolls contain Isaiah)?

I really want to make the best use of the resources effeciently.

Thanks
Martin

Martin, there is no index in the database that I am aware of. What I do is use the DSS Bible. I can quickly check it to see if the verse is extant or not, then in the exegetical guide you can click to change the source text from Anderson Forbes or whatever version you are using to the DSS text that it is extant in. If it is not extant in it it will not be listed. So for example if the verse is in 4QGen1 that will show up and not others will.

Hope that helps.
