Please read before you vote.

The question is rather the news portion of YY radio should be reduced from 30-45 minutes to around 15 minutes. Note the Scripture portion of the show will remain unchanged, 45 minutes. The overall length of the show would be reduced from and hour and a half to one hour.

I will leave the poll open for 10 days, discuss and voice your opinion. Feel free to read the discussions before voting.

With my best Groucho impression as I thump my ash and lift my brows, "longer is better." But in this house there are two answers and I'm pulling the, Paul card on this one. Wife hates any news that's bad.....etc.

And be sure and click your answer in the choice bracket.

I vote to put the news at the END of the show - Understanding Scripture 1st then comment on the mess going on.
News commentary is all over the air waves and internet and when I'm able to sit and listen to YY radio I'm usually tired of all the events having been spun in all different directions.
It's why I don't load them on my MP3 player much any more, to difficult to try to fast forward through it.
Especially when going back and listening to older programs - don't want to wade through old news. In that aspect it was a HUGE blessing that Richard edited out the news on some of the Miqra’ey teachings.
The wife and I have started to listen to the Intro to God shows from the beginning one for Shabbat and will listen to 2-3 in a row, news at the beginning makes it more difficult and disruptive. Also I will listen to some shows more than once, and having the news at the end would make it a more pleasant experience.
That's my piece of copper's worth

I agree with Walt. Put the Scripture at the beginning and the news last. What I typically do is listen to the entire program with news on my MP3 player once. Then I edit out the news from the MP3 file with Nero 8 software running on Windows XP so that I have an MP3 file with no news, just Scripture, and then listen to that multiple times.

I like the news part. I like hearing Yada's point of view vice the mainstream media's. There is a lot of PC, poor journalism, biased, etc. And I like the connection between the news and TPP.

I suspect Yada goes through a lot of material concerning the news and thus takes a lot of his time, so it's really up to Yada on what he wants to do.

Keep the show as is, is my vote.

I vote to leave it as it is. I listen the shows on my ipod while driving to work and back. Do not get a chance to listen live. The news and commentary is very informative. I have given up listening to any news but weather and sports, and the weather is wrong more than right.

I need to change my vote. After reading Walt's post, I agree with him and would prefer news at the end. I also download and listen repeatedly and old news is, old news.

Is it just me, or is there no place to click to vote? The section under "choice" is not clickable.. maybe that's why it only shows one vote

Okay, i deleted the poll since it didn't seem to be usable. Sorry people, one of the many glitches of the forum software I'm afraid.

Continue to voice your opinion about this and I will go through next week one day and do a hand poll and then get with Yada on the consensus opinion.

James,

I think the current format is great. I really enjoy Yada's take on current news events and how they relate to Yahowah's Word. Please keep everything the same.

It works well the way it is. If it's a slow news day... cut it down to an hour... 15 news/ 45 ITG.
I just can not see going from dabar into damud.

Your, eh steve guy reminds me of, The Squidbillies. I voted, Early, did he win?

Early: Don't time fly when you're drunk as hell!
Early: Oh Lord who done made all creatures great and small in his own image: Did you make 'em fine-a$$-soundin' speakers over there what would sound gooder than hell comin' out of the back of my truck-boat-truck? Well if you don't want me to jimmy-jack 'em sweet tweeters you best give me a sign...
(Early rips off a sticker reading "EARLY CUYLER / DO NOT TOUCH!")
Early: A new sign - I done seen that'n.

I'm never sick, but today, my head hurts, my arms hurt, my back hurts, my everything hurts....Yahowsha saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Who's He, just the coporal manifestation of Yahowah is all.
