Lee Strobel's film The Case for Christ retraces the story of his becoming Christian. It contains interviews with N.T. Wright, J. P. Moreland and others β€” defending their view of the historical reliability of the New Testament.

YY readers will have to grit their teeth for the first 29 minutes of the film, until a professor from Moody Bible Institute (Michael R[something]) slips up and refers to the MessiYah by His correct name. He goes on to do this several times, without editorial comment from the filmmakers. He also makes a great case for Yahushua as MessiYah from Isaiah. No doubt the prof has been sacked by Moody by now (Musn't make Jesus appear to Jew-y, you know!).

Watch this film with your favorite pew-sitters, then have the discussion regarding the Hebrew Yahushua vs. the Greek Jesus!

It could be a starting point.

One of my only issues with Strobel's film is towards the end he says something on the lines of: after I saw the evidence I stepped out in faith to follow Jesus. Whereas I think he could have worded it differently, especially since the word faith in most definitions means to believe something without really being certain. Though I can assume Strobel meant he was certain of the evidence he saw.

As for Moody Rydelnik, his bio is here: http://www.moody.edu/edu...ultyProfile.aspx?id=4564

Michael Rydelnik, yep, that is him! He gets it.

At the end of this film, Strobbel challenges the viewer to examine the evidence with an open mind, follow it wherever it takes you, then act on it.

We should present him with YY, FH & TOM, then make the same challenge.

I've made that challenge to many people, My wife is the only person I know to this day who has actually taken the time to read it.
Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

Of the dozen or so I have challenged with that, three have actually taken the time to read. Of those three, three of them have "changed their perspective".

(QP remains a stumbling block tho'...)

For most Christians, probably better to recommend "Jesus' Words Only" rather than QP
It's an easier read, and does a very good job exposing the false apostle - and it's available free online or in book form.
Yahuwah bless thee, and keep thee:
Yahuwah make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
Yahuwah lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

(Numbers 6:24-26)
