Just wanted to thank all of those involved in translating this. I appreciate the work you all put into it.

How far along is the "project" in translating the Old Covenant? How many books are complete, and how many are close? Thanks.
Yahuweh is faithful and loving beyond my thoughts, feelings, emotions, actions, and petty human notions of what constitutes right and wrong. So high does He soar above all things that I do not even know if proclaiming Him as good is in fact good. It is certainly not adequate. So I am thankful still that He accepts my small sacrifices, my petty praises, that my words reach His mighty ears. Thank you Yahweh. May we all learn what is right in your sight, and not our own.

Mine has been slowed as of late, been busy. I should be posting an update soon. I want to finish chapter 20 if Genesis before posting a new PDF. But I noticed that Logos was giving me 'yish even when the word was 'anowsh, so i have been going back to change it where applicable, which means I have to go back to every time man or human is used and see if it was 'yish or 'anowsh, because of the different connotations the two words have. depending on free time I have I Hope to post an update by mid next week.

Finally I'm ready to post an update of Bare'shiyth. sorry for the delay, but I let me best friend borrow my laptop so he could do work for school, and haven't access to all of my tools for a while.

This covers through Chapter 20 of Bare'shiyth- Genesis. I've added bookmarks for each chapter so you can quickly search through it. I have to go back and check on certain word usages, as I pointed out above, i found out that Logos was pointing me to 'ish when 'enowsh was being used, so i have to go check all the places where I translated 'ish and see which word was used.

lassie, I'm able to download it and extract it no problem. I will go ahead and create and upload another zip of it for you to try.

Has anyone else had this problem?

It seems to work now; I clicked on "open in new tab" rather than "save to" and that worked.

Thank You!

Not so much an update, but a patch, I fixed a few typos, like spelling Abel Able, and also fixed the areas where 'enowsh should have been used instead of 'iysh.

File Attachment(s):
Bare'shiyth-Genesis.zip (1,391kb) downloaded 101 time(s).

Hi James!
My computer does not recognize that file extension so I cannot download. What do you suggest? Does this come in .doc or .docx format? You guys are doing fabulous work helping Yada...

It's in a .zip file to download, but the document is in .pdf. The forum won't let me post just the PDF, so I had to zip it. Window's has it's own unzip program, but if it doesn't let you, PM me and I will email you a copy of just the PDF.

I'm almost through Chapter 24 of Genesis, I plan on posting an update once I finish Chapter 25. I haven't had a lot of time to work on it lately, been real busy atwork, and trying to buy a house and move, so free time is limited. hoping once I get moved to have the time to work through some more.

James, I chuckle at your naiveté.

Seriously, though, bro, I hope that's how it works out for you. My move last April was ... well ... there are still things to be done! But I still look forward to getting whatever work you manage to compete. Like our brother said, it's good stuff!

Here's Psalms taken from previous YY compilation with find/replace Yahuweh&Yahweh with Yahowah.
Then added formatted in Psalms from ItG.

Does anyone think it would go over very well if we printed a thousand copies of these texts and stuck them in the book section at our local stores? I was just thinking how crazy it is that no one else has produced this accurate of a translation before, and then I realized that several probably have but they have all been destroyed or lost due to disinterest or claims of heresy. I'm curious to know what the stories are of the thousands that will be in heaven and how they overcame all the lies and opposition of this world.

Here's compilation of YY & ItG Jeremiah/Yirmayahuw/Yah Lifts Up.

On YY verses did find/replace of Yahuweh&Yahweh with Yahowwah and if ItG has same verse used ItG. Imbedded fonts in .docx, not sure if works in .doc. Replaced modern hebrew YHWH font with Semitic Modern Font (right to left) since it wasn't showing up in PDF.

Enjoy - Chuck

Chuck, I forgot to tell you. I had a couple of verses done in Yermayahuw. I'll DL your Word file and add mine to it and then email it to you so you can ck it out and if you want to post it, that'd be great. It's not much, but I did it awhile back. Also, I am right now working on Yerm 39:16 because my son asked me why Yahowah would say that he is using His words for evil - so I said I would translate it (for verses that are not amplified, we use the Scriptures '98 version so that's the version he was referring to). You'll see I started to translate that verse and I decided to add the picto font in for each Word - let me know if that seems to be a good way to do it. It's time consuming (or I'm just slow at it) but I like it.

I really thank James for his previous extraction & compilation of all the verses from YY, which has made these updates w/ItG sooooo much easier!

I concur with Richard's great website, and thanks.

BTW: for all with kindles, er at least Kindle Fire...They have a convert PDF feature that formats the PDF so pages are large text and word wraps to allow reorienting kindle. Not perfect but still good.

One does this by sending attachment to your <username>@kindle.com account with "convert" in the subject line.

If not sure what your kindle email is you can see it from your kindle by: GEAR icon > + More > My Account

I can't speak for Yada, but I have no problem with folks taking these, adding translations of missing verses, and (re)posting with explanation of what was added.

If any have objections to translations they can discuss.

Would be great if all the books were completed/improved around the foundation Yada laid.

Cool, like many verses, even in ISR, demonstrates how bad most translations are. In that case they totally switched context and turned it to God doing evil.

wonderful!

Wife just bought me some new t-shirts, now I have a good use for them. I've drawn out the paleo name of Yah on a t-shirt and wore that thing till it went to rags. Now I have 5 new ones. That should be a life time.

Cool !
You could almost say this has dual meaning: in the modern/paleo "I love Yahowah"...
but in the paleo/modern/paleo:
http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/3_ayin.html

"Know, Love Yahowah"

Perhaps I am doing something wrong - if so please advise. Every time I click on one of the attachments posted I get this:

Any suggestions?

Perhaps I am doing something wrong - if so please advise. Every time I click on one of the attachments posted I get this:

"Error: Resource has been moved or is unavailable. Please contact the forum admin."

Any suggestions?

I emailed Yada and Yow'el on this, and will let you know when I hear a response.

Thanks chuck. I know I have them somewhere, but I don't remember where.

Wonderful insights last night on the YY show on BTR. We love when Larry hears a revelation he never thought of before, and can laugh when it's revealed. That laugh is infectious and causes us to laugh along with him. Job well done, sirs!
