There is talk of rebuilding the Temple and
The Ark was almost scheduled to be revealed and
Everyone is pressuring Israel to give away land for peace and
The New World Order is on every politician's tongue and
Homosexuality has achieved nearly legal status and
Atheists have more religious rights than 'christians' and
Adultery is no longer the death knell for a politician and
Virtually every pastor on TV and radio is talking about End Times and
Even the Mayans had a date(2012) for the END....

2033 makes a lot of sense to me, but it is hard to see how so many of these phophetic events will be held off until then.

Or do all of these things need to sit in the minds of men for a decade so that when it is time, men will say; Oh yeah, that's OK. I've heard of that. It is time we did that.

Does anyone else feel like the clock is ticking too slow??
“Because he clings to Me, is joined to Me, loves and delights in Me, desires Me, therefore I will deliver him, carry him safely away, cause him to escape from harm making him inaccessible and strong, and delivering him safely to heaven, because he has known, observed, cared for, recognized, instructed and advised others to use, designated, acknowledged, discerned, answered in, My name, authority, character, report, mark, and nature." Well, to me, personally, yes and no.

I don't see how the USA will make it even until 2026 the way things are going. I mean, with the people who we elected to office, the way culturally speaking, that we view moral issues.

But I have a theory. Since Yahweh isn't willing that ANY should perish, I think, and I may be wrong, that He is allowing 2 things:

1.) I think He wants all of the signs before the tribulation to be VERY noticeable, so I think the reason the trib is still 2 decades-ish away is so that everyone, no matter where they are, can definitly notice. I also think things will continue to get worse, but until the "rapture" at least, there will be a voice of truth and reason, albeit small, that can keep things from getting 100% bad (even if we can only keep it at 98% or 99%), which is also why you see certain politicians approval ratings starting to sink...

and

2.) I think Yahweh is giving the atheists and scientologists and christians and muslims and liberals and "conservatives", etc. enough time to get EXACTLY what they want, culminating in taking away the last people that stand for truth, reason, and justice (i.e. the Ekklesia).

Of course, this is just a theory, but from what I know of Yahweh, I know that freewill is important, so I think that, at least while the Ekklesia is here (so as not to punish us), he will hold back on His wrath, and give them(Socialist Secular Humanists, NOT the Ekklesia) what they want little by little so that not only can they think about their actions before hand, but also have the time to relish the consequences, so if there is no repentance, in "sackloth and ashes" (which I know there won't be, at least from ALOT of people...), then... well, they have all the evidence of what they belive, it's causes AND effects, so they will know EXACTLY what it will give them.

Also, I believe that the evidence provided over these next few decades will be enough for the so-called "fence sitters", that they might have a chance in knowing the truth, and not just all fall for the AC. Because, if you think about it, all of the true children of Yahweh will be gone, and, barring someone making a correct translation of the Scriptures, all post-harpazzo-ers will have are errant bible's, and in addition, I don't think even alot of the "clergy" and other religous people will even pretend to teach the truth anymore after that. So, I think we are in for a rough couple of years, but I think it's a small price we may have to pay to give those who are left behind a fighting chance at discovering the truth. And, also, I could be wrong about this too, but aren't there supposed to be ALOT of tribulation martyrs? Like, ALOT?!?!

Although, I would ask my brothers and sisters to correct me and show me in scripture where I am wrong on any of these things, that I may not be led astray! And also, that I certainly don't lead others astray either! Halal ben Shachar (Satan, although I don't know if my spelling is right, I try to use the real names of stuff ) has got enough minions doing that, he doesn't need another...

Your observations certainly resonate with me, Robert. I'll tell you what's really shaking me up these days. You know how the "Three doors" theory makes so much scriptural sense, how it explains so much about the mercy and character of Yahweh? The comparative malaise, the apathy, and the religious error of the past couple of millennia (never mind what the scriptures actually say) makes it hard for me to get through the day without thanking God for His "pro-choice" (pardon the expression) stance: we'll get precisely the spiritual destinies we choose.

So why am I shaken? Because from everything I've read, the Last Days (as you've apparently noticed as well, R) are a time when the apathetic fence-sitters destined for "mere" dissipation (door #2) will become an endangered species, if not extinct. You're right: the Tribulation martyrs are described as an inumerable multitude, which leads me to the inescapable conclusion that Truth will make a huge comeback after the rapture. But the truly scary thing is that by the time of the separation of the sheep and goats (after the bigT is over and Yahshua has taken His throne), there are only two groups left: those who will enter the Millennial Kingdom as mortals "blessed of My Father," and those who are told to "depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his messengers." By the time of the end of the beginning, there are no non-choosers left, no one who has not accepted either Yahweh's Spirit or Satan's.

My friends, I believe that the process of "choosing sides" has already begun in earnest. Neutrality is going out of style.

And I would certainly agree that choosing sides is becoming more prevalent...

I think, if I may use a metaphor, that the world is growing up faster and faster and faster all the time. When we read the news stories of 13 year old kids as parents, when (and this may be something not everyone may know) we see our high school students (In the USA, I can't necessarily speak for other countries) getting pregnant, choosing drugs and gangs, violence, with more and more adolescents committing violent crimes, partying at younger and younger ages... Well, at least I see the world as growing up faster when I read the news...

Or maybe its because when I was in middle school (i.e. Junior High) a mere 5 or 6 years ago, drinking and having sex were just... I dunno, just not even there!!! Not even discussed at all! But now, and I'm definitely not saying everyone is like this, its becoming more and more prevalent. And it's only going to get worse.

I think it is interesting to consider the enormous ratifications of the 60's and 70's popular culture and drug usage and it's effects on us now. It is a prime example of people just doing whatever they want with no thought given to the consequences, and as a result, each successive generation has been slipping further and further down the proverbial rabbit hole. It is also a prime example of what following man-made rules and conventions can do to you or a generation...

I bring up those era's for a reason relevant to the thread though. I can see distinct parallels between those eras and Israel, right before they were captured by the Babylonians. Maybe indicative of the coming judgment? I also can see how it was Yahweh's grace that held off His hand, to give people the chance to choose falling further, or swallowing their pride and repenting. I think it's interesting that the prophet Daniel spoke of both times...
