I don't know if you ever figured this out. But I noticed before I was a moderator, that as soon as someone made a post, it would show up at the bottom of the main page under "most recent post". You can click on the person's name, and then look at their last 10 posts. Then you can go right to the post, basically bypassing the need for approval. I would do that and reply to people well before a post was approved and showed up in the active topics section.

It appears that not all posts are being filtered through my - Moderate - function. After I read through and approve all outstanding posts, I still find posts on the board that I never saw/cant remember approving. I am wondering what is happening here - is there a lag time between when a member posts a message and when it appears in the cue of posts awaiting approval?
