It all depends, if your running to many processes it might chop. You can right click on the archive radio links and "save link as" then listen, you can also put them then on your iPod, iPhone, iEverything and other phones. By default, if you just click to listen its automatically saved into your temporary file then played or saved as .part then streamed.
It's either one of a few things:
-Download speed and usage
-Too many process, excessive resources
-Audio file corrupted when downloaded
-Cache & Temp needs to be cleared
-Using Programs like iTunes can run resources up as well, but it can total your resources if opened for long periods of time.

So really, the best solution would just be to clear temp, then restart (sounds novice but closes your processes) then listen. It's probably best just to download them like I explained.

Listening to the Shattering Myths Archives on my desktop PC and the stream stops at least once per hour.
The 2nd hour from 11/09/2012 stopped at least 5 times.....

is it my PC, my internet connection, or does this happen to other listeners?

with 8 gigs of memory, could it really be my system?

Thanks!
